The City of Kannapolis provides a wide range of services for its citizens.

Resident Services

• Garbage, recycling, and yard waste/leaf pick-up
• Reserve a picnic shelter, athletic field, or other park facility
• Sign up for a recreation program
• Sign up on of our free non-certified CPR courses
• Get more information on Knox Boxes, Fire Safety, Fire Truck Visits, Smoke Alarm Checks or Fire Station Tours. 
• Serve on a city board or commission
• Start water and sewer service
• Pay water and sewer bill
• Register my alarm

Business Services

• Obtain/request a fire code inspection
• Sign up for the Knox Box program through the Fire Department
• Get a special use permit from the Fire Department (blasting, tent/canopy, hydrant fire flow)
• Obtain a zoning permit

Reporting a Problem

• Report a crime or accident
• Report a code violation (junk car, overgrown grass, dilapidated buildings, etc.)
• Report (Widget) a public works problem (water, wastewater, stormwater, streets and roads)
