All City of Kannapolis offices will be closed on Monday, September 5, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Garbage and recycling collection service will run on its normal schedule.
All Kannapolis parks will be open for regular operating hours from dawn until dusk. In Village Park, the Rotary Express and Splash Pad will be open Saturday, 10 a.m. -7 p.m.; Sunday and Monday from noon to 6 p.m.
The Splash Pad will close for the season on September 11 and the Rotary Express will close on October 22.
