On Tuesday, November 29th, Kannapolis Fire Department and the Charlotte Regional Center of the NC Health and Human Services will host Safety Awareness Day for the Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing/Deaf-Blind community at Kannapolis City Hall (401 Laureate Way) from 10 am -12 pm.

This free training seminar will provide information on medical alert devices, winter safety and fall prevention. There will also be an opportunity to tour Kannapolis City Hall and the 911 Communications Center. The event is limited to 50 attendees and early registration is encouraged.

This training is the second time these two groups have joined together to host and is made possible by N.C. Office of State Fire Marshal, N.C Department of Health and Human Services, N.C. Fire & Life Safety Educators' Association, and Kannapolis Fire Department.
