All City of Kannapolis offices will be closed from Tuesday, December 24 thru Thursday, December 26, in observance of the Christmas Holiday. There will be no garbage or recycling collection service on Wednesday, December 25. Garbage and recycling collection will operate on a one-day delay with Wednesday’s route collected on Thursday and so forth for the rest of the week. There will be no yard waste, limb or loose-leaf collection Tuesday, December 24 through Thursday, December 26. 

Pickleball and Tennis Courts at Bakers Creek Park will close at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. 

Offices will also be closed on January 1, 2025, in observance of the New Year. There will be no delay in garbage and recycling collection services over the holiday, however, there will be no yard waste, limb, or loose-leaf collection on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
