The wide variety of performances and affordable tickets ensures there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

REO Survivor & Co. – Tribute to REO Speedwagon, Loverboy and Survivor - Friday, January 10
A Tribute to REO Speedwagon, Survivor, and Loverboy, this five-piece band has the goal of creating a hard-driving, fist pumping, rock and roll force concert experience for you. From the very first note, the band has the audience enthusiastically singing along to such classic anthems as REO Speedwagon’s “Take It on The Run,” Survivor’s “Eye of The Tiger,” and Loverboy’s “Working for the Weekend.”
Slippery When Wet: The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute Band - Saturday, January 11
Slippery When Wet – The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute was formed in 2003 by lead singer Jason Morey after answering many inquiries of “Are You Jon Bon Jovi?”. Most notably comedian Dave Chappelle invited Jason backstage following one of his comedy shows thinking that he was the New Jersey icon. It was then that Jason knew he had to take advantage of the resemblance.
Slippery When Wet reproduces the exact live arrangements from Bon Jovi’s 2000’s Crush tour, 2002’s Bounce tour, 2005’s Have a Nice Day tour, 2008’s Lost Highway tour and 2010’s The Circle tour to form what Jason refers to as an “Arena-Club Show”. Their drive, musical ability, showmanship and dedication to duplicating the Bon Jovi live experience simply cannot be matched.
Midnight Book Release Party – Onyx Storm - Monday, January 20, 10 p.m.
On January 20, 2025, starting at 10 pm, Editions Book Store will host their first Boozy Book Fair featuring the midnight release of Onyx Storm, the upcoming third novel in Rebecca Yarros’ Fourth Wing series, at Kannapolis’s iconic Swanee Theatre!
Preorder copies of Onyx Storm are SOLD OUT as of January 7, but anyone is still welcome to attend the party. There will be a limited number of copies of the book available for purchase at the party on a first come first serve basis. There will be other new release books available to purchase as well as crafts and merchandise from vendors.
There will be many exciting “Fourth Wing” inspired activities including a costume contest with a prize for the winner, trivia, a crafting corner, and bookish merch and handmade crafts for sale from local vendors.
There is no cover charge to get in the door. If you plan to purchase books or merch from Editions, please note they will only accept card payments (no cash). Other vendors as well as the Swanee bar will accept cash or card.
Crawford & Power - Saturday, January 25
Crawford & Power, a dynamic duo hailing from Southwest Virginia, are redefining the country music scene with their distinctive sound. Rooted in southern authenticity, Jake Crawford's commanding vocals seamlessly blend with Ethan Power's modern Dobro approach, crafting their own brand of Appalachian Red Dirt Country.
Already leaving their mark, Crawford & Power have shared the stage with notable artists like The Marshall Tucker Band, Willie Nelson, Travis Tritt, and more. Their career gained momentum with the release of their debut EP, "Play a Hank Jr. Song," propelling them to over 5 million on-demand streams. Following up with singles like “She Liked to Get High” & “Letting You Go,” the duo spent 2023 in the studio with Producer Grady Saxman, unveiling their latest EP, "Bring it On Home," as well as multiple singles in 2023.
As they set their sights on 2025 and beyond, Crawford & Power are preparing new music and continued musical exploration. This duo is just getting started, poised to captivate audiences with their evolving sound.
Chairmen of the Board - Saturday, February 1
One of Soul Music's all-time great groups, the Chairmen of the Board has pleased music lovers for over 30 years. Formed in Detroit, the Chairmen were one of the first acts signed by songwriting legends Holland/Dozier/Holland. Over the years, the Chairmen of the Board have been among Soul Music's most consistent hitmakers, with songs like "Pay to the Piper," "Finders Keepers," "Chairmen of the Board," and the blissful "Everything's Tuesday". Now members of the N.C. Music Hall of Fame, they continue to entertain audiences with their musical talent!

Tell Me Lies: The Fleetwood Mac Experience - Saturday, February 15
Tell Me Lies performs the iconic music of Fleetwood Mac and pays tribute to legendary band members Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, and John McVie. Heralded as the most authentic Fleetwood Mac Experience, Tell Me Lies performs all the band’s hits spanning six decades, as well as Stevie Nick’s best known solo work. The seven piece band of veteran musicians treats their audiences to a true, live Fleetwood Mac music experience with no recordings or backing tracks.
Too Much Sylvia - Friday, February 21
Stay warm in February with the beach music sounds of TOO MUCH SYLVIA. Steve Long, the primary lead vocalist and guitar player has won the prestigious Male Vocalist of the Year from the Carolina Beach Music Association. Eddy Howie covers the bass guitar duties and because of his natural high singing abilities, he’s able to sing songs from the Jersey Boys to Journey! Drummer Don Leonard works the solid groove with Eddy, while he flashes a smile, providing a great feel to keep the audience moving. Rick Lee is the keyboardist who steps out front occasionally to sing a few R&R songs. Individually, he has been honored with five Songwriter and five Producer of the Year Awards from the Carolina Beach Music Association where he is a member of the Hall of Fame.
Their vocal blend and harmonies are really a major part of the Too Much Sylvia sound. Combine all the above, with their tight, tasteful musical arrangements and it’s a presentation that makes for a great night of beach music fun.

Steve Brogan is one of those rare entertainers who can entertain any audience with his incredibly unique talent. He mixes stand-up comedy, audience participation, improvisation, ventriloquism along with his astonishing voice manipulations, all to the benefit of comedy-seeking audiences. His creativity allows him to “Bring Laughter to Life” through his character’s personalities and his ability to find “the funny” in everyday life.

Lakeview Featuring Ryan Perry - Saturday, March 1
Tattooed, rural, and blue-collar country tandem Lakeview (Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy) have an unwavering faith in God, a belief in family and community, and a fanbase on social media that has grown rapidly in the past 12 months. Combine that with metal-core roots distilled into country hits like “Home Team” and “See Me in A Suit” with a love of early 2000s pop and rock- aimed country, plus contemporary, radio-ready sound. These elements define their early, fast-rising success.
The band has grown from playing in Chinese restaurants, church basements, and VFW halls to larger arenas because they’re comfortable in the rock lane and as a country duo, they bring traditional country fans together with non-traditional country fans. Like their fans, they’re hard-working heroes who wear Wranglers, boots, and cowboy hats or love Metallica shirts, black skinny jeans, and face tattoos.

Calling All Parrotheads! Captain Mike & The Shipwrecked is a premier Jimmy Buffett tribute band, playing hits and deep cuts from the Coral Reefer catalog. This will be a high energy evening with music to set your sails too.
Captain Mike has always been drawn to life on the water. After attending UNCW, he moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida, spending his days on the beach and his nights playing the bars for the tourists. Moving back to Charlotte to pursue music full time, He makes sure he carves out time to head to the Caribbean every year to island hop and sail around.
Jimmy Buffett is the playlist to every trip and now it is time to honor his legacy and continue to play these songs for old parrotheads and new fans alike. Now with the Shipwrecked, a 9-piece band consisting of a blend of pirates and musicians alike, Captain Mike is ready to sail into any venue singing songs and telling stories about time on the sea.

Late Night Special is a funked-up alternative indie rockin’ pop outfit native to Charlotte, NC. To them, music is all about breaking rules, lifting spirits, and connecting with audiences who crave something real. Late Night Special found success in 2021 with its indie rock anthem, “Don’t Leave Me Lonely,” and has become known for its exploratory songwriting style. The group has broken its own barriers with each release, as heard in the funky dance cut “If You Groove,” ethereal dreamscape EP World Remains the Same, feel-good rock ballad “Summer Nights,” and bombastic new single, “Spray."
