After further evaluation of street conditions there will be NO garbage and recycling collection today.  There will be a one day delay for all routes for the remainder of the week.

Road conditions are very hazardous in Kannapolis.

Crews worked all night spreading salt and sand but the  temps are so cold the snow has frozen on the streets. 

Please do not travel. Ice is not your friend and we really do not want you to have an accident.
