A North Carolina Department of Transportation contractor will close a section of Ebenezer Road in Rowan County for approximately four months to replace a bridge over Beaver Creek.

Starting at 8 a.m. Monday, Ebenezer Road between Bostian Road and East 22nd Street will be closed to traffic. The project is expected to be completed, and the road will reopen July 1.

During the closure, a signed detour will direct traffic along Bostian Road, Old Beatty Ford Road, and U.S. 29 (North Cannon Boulevard).

Drivers are advised to exercise caution and expect possible delays due to the detour..
