Fifteen employees have completed the employee session of Kannapolis 101. Kannapolis 101 is held once a year and focuses on educating employees about the City and its services.

For eight weeks, participants visit each of the City departments such as police, fire, planning, public works, etc., and are able to hear firsthand how each department meets the needs of residents. The class helps employees understand the role they and their department plays in the everyday lives of residents.

Completing the class this fall were: Abie Mercado – Morales, Alana Sweatt, Ana Contreras, Barbara Black, Brett Mann, Chase Crowe, Corey Barnes, Gullian Prince, Hannah Nall, Jack Lanaghan, Michele President, Ronald Sloop, Tom Greene, Tony Cline and Tyler Obrien
