The City of Kannapolis is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Hassenfritz has been promoted to the position of Assistant Director of Engineering.
Beth began her career with the City of Kannapolis as an Engineer in 2018. She has directed and supervised engineering projects across all city departments, including the following: Harding Avenue sidewalk, Coventry Road storm drainage, U.S. Highway 29 sewer rehabilitation, Block 8 parking lot, Kannapolis Crossing water and sewer extension, Jim Johnson Road water main, Lane Street Infrastructure and multiple federally funded projects.
Before joining the City of Kannapolis, Hassenfritz worked for the City of Charlotte and US Infrastructure of Carolina, Inc. Beth has over 19 years of project management experience, designing neighborhood, transportation and drainage projects.
A cum laude graduate of Clemson University, Beth is proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCad. She also holds a certificate in asset management.
