There will be no garbage/recycling service tomorrow, Monday, January 17. Collection will be on a one day delay this week.
We really appreciate everyone staying off the roads. At this point we have not had any vehicle accidents since the storm started which is wonderful! We strongly urge you to continue to stay off the roads until tomorrow midday and remain safe.
City street crews are continuing to plow snow and distribute salt/slag on major streets and thoroughfares but roads remain treacherous. Temperatures are so low there is little to no melting of the sleet and snow. Anything that melts today is expected to refreeze tonight. Again, we encourage you to stay off the roads until the temperatures rises sometime tomorrow. City crews will continue to work overnight plowing and putting salt and slag on streets.
City parks and greenways are closed today and tomorrow. Rider Transit is closed today and tomorrow.
