The Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade for Cabarrus County will be held in Kannapolis at 9 a.m. this Saturday, January 14.

The parade will begin at the intersection of Main Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue and travel down Main Street to Laureate Way to Atrium Health Ballpark. Please be aware that partial street closures will begin at 8:50 a.m. to accommodate the parade.

Following the parade there will be several free activities at the ballpark from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. including a program at 11 a.m. Activities for you and your family to enjoy include:

  • Free Food, Fun, and Entertainment
  • Minority Business Fair
  • Community Organizations Booths
  • Health & Wellness Corridor
  • Interactive Kids Activities - Bounce House, Roller Skating Rink, & a Collaborative Art Display
