City of Kannapolis employees volunteer for a number of local organizations including Habitat for Humanity. Last fall city staff painted, installed siding, and completed other volunteer work on a Habitat house on Ontario Drive.
Last week, city officials, welcomed Yesenia Rios and her family, to Kannapolis, at the dedication of her home. As part of Habitat’s requirements Yesenia completed over 250 hours of sweat equity in her home and others in the City, financial literacy and other courses relevant to being a homeowner.
