It's a great week to Discover Fun in Kannapolis!
4-7 p.m., Thursday, June 1st | Kannapolis Farmers Market | Intersection of Vance St. and Dale Earnhardt Blvd.
While supplies last, customers can receive a free reusable tote bag when making a purchase of $10 or more from a new vendor. The market is held every Thursday, 4-7 p.m. at the corner of Vance St. and Dale Earnhardt Blvd. The market will continue through September.
7 p.m., Saturday, June 3rd | Concert in the Park: Collective Soul | Village Park
The band, Collective Soul, has had numerous hits, including songs like “Shine”, “Heavy”, and “She Said”. Since the band’s start in 1992, many of their songs have been number one hits on Mainstream Rock charts Their self-titled album, “Collective Soul”, spent 76 weeks on the Billboard 200 Chart, and went triple platinum.
Food/drinks will be available for purchase, or attendees can bring their own food and nonalcoholic drinks. Coolers are allowed with no outside alcohol. Lawn chairs are permitted.
The concert is free to the public.
Cannon Ballers Baseball is happening all week.
Come out to Atrium Ballpark and watch the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers take on the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. Games are: 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 29th and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31st, Thursday, June 1st, Friday, June 2nd, and Saturday, Jun 3rd. The Cannon Ballers will also host a 1 p.m. game on Sunday, June 4th.
