Work is well underway on the new downtown streetscape and infrastructure project.
This month the following construction will take place:
•Paving & striping on Vance & Oak
•Work on Vance will be completed and Vance will open from Dale Earnhardt Blvd. to West and Oak
•Curb & Gutter work begins on Vance & Oak
•Sidewalk installation on Vance
•Electrical work on Oak
•Work on Dale Earnhardt Blvd will be completed and all lanes reopened
•New electrical feeds for Main St. streetlights
•Continue install of sewer & stormwater on West Ave. to West B
•Ductbank installation on West
•Waterline installation on West B from Oak to Chestnut
Once completed the streetscape will be a dynamic urban park that includes unique green space, outdoor dining and social activity areas. This phase of the Downtown Revitalization should be completed by Spring 2019.
