The City of Kannapolis is hosting a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21 outside City Hall, 401 Laureate Way.
Doners will receive a $20 eGift Card, a OneBlood t-shirt, and a free wellness checkup. (Including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening).

Join us in Village Park at 8:45 p.m. on May 24, for Movies in the Park! Enjoy the family friendly movie, Trolls Band Together. This event is free to the public.
Food/Drinks will be available for purchase, or attendees can bring their own food and nonalcoholic drinks. Coolers are allowed with no outside alcohol and are subject to inspection. Lawn chairs are permitted.
Children 18 & under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. No pets or smoking please.
2:30 – 5:30 p.m., Saturday, May 25 | Free Non-Certified CPR Class | City Hall
As a part of Kannapolis Fire Department’s commitment to saving as many cardiac arrest victims as possible, they will be offering free, non-certified CPR classes throughout the year. The next class will take place from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m., on Saturday, May 25 at Kannapolis City Hall, 401 Laureate Way.
Statistics show that having someone on scene who can begin CPR immediately, before firefighters arrive, can mean the difference between life and death.

Memorial Day Weekend Park Hours
All Kannapolis parks will be open during regular operating hours from dawn until dusk. The train, carousel and splash pad at Village Park will be open Memorial Day weekend. Tickets are $1.50 for each attraction.
