The Kannapolis City Council has honored Ruby Wagoner of Kannapolis with the Outstanding Volunteer Award. Ruby was nominated by Sherry Rhodes for the many things she does for people in the City. Most significantly Ruby was recognized for volunteering twice a week (Wednesdays and Sundays) to visit patients on all four floors of Transitional Health Services.. “A proud 91-year-old, Ruby provides love, care, jokes, conversation and items the residents may need. She is an inspiration to all of us,” Sherry said.
