The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers are in the playoffs! The Cannon Ballers will play the Charleston River Dogs for the Caroliina League Championship this week in a best of three series.  

Playoff Games will take place as follows: 
September 10 | Game 1 - Away at Charleston River Dogs
September 11 | Travel/Rest Day 
September 12 | Game 2 - Charleston River Dogs at Kannapolis Cannon Ballers at 7 p.m., 
September 13 | Game 3 (if needed) Charleston River Dogs at Kannapolis Cannon Ballers at 7 p.m.

Thursdays on Main: The Band of Oz | Veterans Park | 6 p.m., Thursday, September 12 

Thursdays on Main is back this week with The Band of Oz. Join us at Veterans Park at 6 p.m., this Thursday, September 12 for this beach music concert. Veterans Park is located at 119 N. Main Street. 

The concert is free to the public. Children 18 & under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. No pets or smoking please. Food/drinks will be available for purchase. No coolers. No chairs.

Run Kannapolis: Race for Peace | 8 a.m., Saturday, September 14 | North Carolina Research Campus 

Join us at 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, for another race in the Run Kannapolis series! 

Race for Peace invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to participate. The run will begin at 8 a.m. on September 14 at the Core Lab on the North Carolina Research Camps. 

The Race for Peace is hosted by The S.T.U.D.I.O.
