Improvements to Kannapolis City Hall are underway. The improvements are designed to provide a better customer service experience to those visiting the facility.

The Customer Service Department is undergoing renovations and will reopen with an emphasis on visitors being able to more easily interact with customer service staff when they visit City Hall.

The roundabout in front of Kannapolis City Hall on Laureate Way will close on Monday, September 30 until November 14. City Hall will remain open and both parking lots will be accessible.

The street closure is necessary as the current parallel parking spaces in front of City Hall will be converted to angled parking spaces. This will allow additional parking spaces in front of the City Hall. The project also includes the addition of handicap parking spaces to the front of the building, in order to make the building more easily accessible to residents and visitors.
