ESPN Sportscenter is coming to Kannapolis Monday, October 28, to film the opening & closing scenes of their SportsCenter Veterans Day Special.

The special will air starting November 8th through Veterans week on ESPN and ABC.

We invite all current military, veterans, first responders and supporters of the military to be a part of the show’s opening scene alongside ESPN host Sal Paolantonio. 

The public is also welcome to attend to cheer and support our veterans. Show your American colors by wearing red, white and blue.

Filming will take place on West Avenue near the Swanee Theatre at approximately 5:30 p.m. until sunset. 

We hope to see everyone Monday for this special opportunity to salute Veterans!
