The City of Kannapolis offices will be closed Monday, January 20 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Offices will reopen on January 21. There will be no delay in the collection of garbage, recycling, bulky waste, or e-waste. Yard debris and loose leaf collection will not be collected on Monday, January 20, but will be collected on your next regularly scheduled day. Tuesday-Friday collection of loose leaves and yard waste will operate on a regular schedule.

On Saturday, February 8, from 9 a.m. until noon, Kannapolis Public Works will host a free document shredding event at the Public Works Operation Center, at 1401 Bethpage Road.
