In accordance with recent guidance from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), face masks will no longer be required at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, the Rider Transit Center or while riding the bus. City of Kannapolis offices will be closed Friday, April 15, in observance of the Easter Holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday, April 18. Garbage and recycling services will operate on a regular schedule. There will be no yard waste collection on Friday. It will be collected on a regular schedule the following week. The Kannapolis Police Department has once again been awarded national accreditation. This is the eighth consecutive time the agency has achieved the accreditation honor.
