Kannapolis employees who completed the Kannapolis 101 Academy were recently recognized by the Kannapolis City Council. The employees completed the eight-week program this fall. The City of Kannapolis Parks and Recreation Department will open registration for Youth Flag Football on June 14. Registration will close July 31. Children must be between the ages of 5-15 to participate. The registration fee is $40 for Kannapolis residents and $60 for non-residents, which includes the cost of uniforms, practices, and games.
