The Kannapolis City Council has approved the Fiscal Year 2022 budget. The approved budget is $85,250,848 and includes all six operating funds of the City. The budget includes no property tax increase.   However, there is a $2.50 per month environmental fee increase. City Will Host Two Concerts This Week The City of Kannapolis will continue its Summer Concert and Movie Series with two concerts this week. The Band of Oz will perform at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 8 at Veterans Park. Uncle Kracker will perform at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 10 at Village Park.
