Traffic/Water Alert - A waterline has been damaged at the intersection of Breckenridge Road and Kansas Street. This intersection will be closed while the waterline is repaired. Cabarrus County real estate and personal property tax bills will mail to residents on July 26. Property tax bills are due on September 1 and are classified as past due if not paid before January 7, 2020. The Kannapolis City Council has approved the FY 2020 budget. The FY 2020 budget is $75,513,726 which includes all seven operating funds of the City. The budget includes no property tax increase.
