A. No, City policy requires Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
Q. Is Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) required to do business with the City?
A. Yes, you may complete the Authorization for Electronic Funds Transfer form and send it to Accounts Payable by fax at (704) 938-5919, email it to the Accounts Payable staff or regular mail at the address listed on the form. See the Authorization form for more details. If EFT is not used the City will charge a processing fee of $10 per check.
Q. When can I expect payment?
A. Invoices are paid according to the terms stated on the vendor invoice. If terms are not stated on the invoice, we assume terms of net 30 days.
